Quiet on The Set: Dwight Howard Drama Take 17
Earlier this week Dwight told KCAL-TV, a Los Angeles CBS affiliate station, when discussing his years with the Orlando Magic:
"My team in Orlando was a team full of people who nobody wanted, and I was the leader and led that team with a smile on my face."Clearly, that comment did not go over too well with his former Orlando teammates. Orlando Magic point guard Jameer Nelson said via Orlando Sentinel:
"I would be less of a man to comment on certain thing that people comment on about me and my teammates. We had a great run as a group, as core guys, and he was part of it (reaching the 2009 NBA Finals) and for him to say things about anybody in a negative manner, that's up to him."
"That's his opinion. If that's how he feels, that's how he feels."Former Magic teammate JJ Redick, now a Milwakuee Buck, told ESPNLosAngeles:
"I'm not surprised by it. I would be more surprised when Dwight starts taking responsibility That would be the most negative thing I can say, but that's the truth."
"You can't take all the credit and not accept any of the blame."Just when we thought the trade would end the Orlando drama for Howard, the saga continues.
LeBron and Savannah set a wedding date
News broke on New Years Eve night of 2011 that Lebron James had proposed to his longtime girlfriend and mother of his 2 sons, Savannah Brinson. Recent reports say that the couple have set a date supported by the "Save The Weekend" invites that have leaked online asking guests to clear their calendars between September 13-15 for the wedding and other activities related to the nuptial weekend. The wedding is reportedly expected to be an exotic wedding in San Diego, California. Good for them!
Who has the best Harlem Shake?
Last Thursday The Miami Heat released a video on YouTube on the team doing a wild dance while wearing costumes representing parodies of themselves to a song called the Harlem Shake by Bauuer, Bauuer. The video quickly went viral igniting a chain effect of millions of people around the nation creating their own Harlem Shake videos. Perhaps the one most directed to the Heat is the version of the Harlem Shake video that the Minnesota Timberwolves released on Tuesday after they were defeated by Miami 97-81 on Monday night. You can be the judge, but to me this video says somebody's still hanging on to the loss. Could this possibly be because of the flagrant foul controversy that took place in the 4th quarter?
Check out Lebron and Savannah's invitations along with The Timberwolves Harlem Shake video below:
Love the posts, Jaz!!! Looking forward to seeing you on the Tube:-)
