NBA Finals Preview/Prediction Contest

It's the day we've all been waiting for...well most of us. The NBA Finals rematch begins tonight, as Tim Duncan tries again to capture that fifth title and LeBron and the Heat go for a three-peat (I wonder if Pat Riley made money off of me typing that).

Anyway, check out this video for my prediction on who will win this series and details on The Rundown's NBA Finals contest to see how you can win! Catch game 1 tonight at 9pm on ABC. Happy Finals!

  1. the first point the return to the 2-2-1-1-1 format the old 2-3-2 format heavily favored the team with the home court advantage it was extremely hard to win the middle three home games in seasons past so that should help the heat .
last year it was manu ginobilli who game into the championship hampered this year the questions are focused on the health of tony parker's ankle conversely coach spolestra has done a magnificent job of managing d-wades minutes this year his energy level and contributions have been the best they have been in two seasons .
the bench with the absence of mike miller and the dwindling minutes and effectiveness of the retiring shane battier at times the contribution of the miami bench has been minimal will players such as rashard lewis and norris cole give the heat effective perimeter play the spurs on the other hand bench has improved since last yr advantage heat contrary to the medias sentiments neither organization has to worry about the status of their legacy we are talking about the best organization of the last 15 yrs against the best team of the last four yrs the motivation is equal and conventional wisdom dictates not to bet against the champions or the best player in the league my instincts say spurs get it done king james said at his press conference when he signed with the heat not one ,not two ,not three not four two weeks from now he becomes one of a precious few to win three championships in a row
